How to Study Maths with RemNote
Applying Spaced Repetition to Maths and Sciences

Do you remember the maths lessons where people could buy 64 watermelons and no one wondered why? For most of us, those times are long ago. Over the years, maths has become a bit more complex. Thus, we need techniques to grasp all those new concepts as quickly as possible. Here is my approach to that.
Roadmap
The Knowledge Metaphor 🌲
Have you ever compared “studying maths” with “growing a tree”?. If not, here are two possible scenarios:
- If the roots are weak, there is no chance that the knowledge tree will resist (mathematical) thunderstorms.
- If there is a sustainable foundation, your tree will carry fruits and your maths skills will flourish.
Pursuing this analogy, getting a fruitful tree involves two components:
- Supply with water, nutrients, and sun-light: This means continually practicing the basics. If your trunk is fragile, it will break once the branches with the fruits are getting too heavy.
